Overview
The FLP-03 is an OFD Flycore-based bullpup blaster, which, as nearly all my blasters are, was designed for a specific gameplay need- that is, an automatic blaster that could be used two handed, and yet tucked in tightly for indoor close-quarters games. I had tried an OFD Quik, which was great, but didn't work as well two handed as I wanted. FLP-03 can be tucked into the shoulder angled, fired from the chest or hip two handed quite nicely, or one-handed if needed.
It's not a very mature design. The trigger has no proper retention, the magazine is held in by a detent rather than a release, and the battery compartment is... not super great. But it worked quite well, and actually got me connected with the Nerf Internet Community (NIC), which led to the rapid progression of my CAD and design ability.
